About the Market

The Horseshoe Craft & Flea Market is a seasonal open-air market where emerging, undiscovered and experienced artists, crafters, and antique/vintage collectors in Denver can set up their own shop and meet their customers. It’s a rare and wonderful shopping destination where customers can engage with and buy directly from local makers, creators and collectors. You’re sure to stumble upon some pretty awesome, lucky finds!

Our Mission

The Horseshoe Craft & Flea Market seeks to cultivate a vital community of local artists, hand-crafters, repurposers, recyclers, designers, collectors and entrepreneurs. It’s a comfortable, open venue for selling handmade and hand-picked goods, sharing resources, ideas and creating community. Ultimately, the Horseshoe Market seeks to promote and sustain a livelier and more colorful Denver. We are a proud member of the Denver Handmade Alliance and the Berkeley District Merchants Association.

Meet the Directors

Director Amy B. Yetman, originally from Ames, Iowa, is a painter and mixed-media artist, weaver, estate sale junkie, and all around creative soul. Amy received her MA in counseling psychology and helped manage the volunteer program in the nation’s largest food bank in Chicago. In addition to running the Horseshoe, Amy teaches Psychology at the Community College of Denver and feels her life mission is to not only create art, but to support people in finding and expressing their authentic selves through creativity in whatever form it takes.

Doug Yetman (Operations Director) is originally from Lawrence, Kansas. Doug has years of experience as an entrepreneur (owned a successful restaurant in Lawrence for over seven years), event planner and professional communicator. Doug directed the volunteer and intern programs for the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver and has planned golf-tournaments, triathlons and other large-scale events. Doug is also the founder and president of The Green Wish Foundation.

Together, Amy and Doug care deeply about their community and are thrilled to have the opportunity to partner and collaborate with so many wonderful people through the Horseshoe!
