MODesTEA has been a tea specialty shop in the Northwest Denver, Berkeley District for four years. It has grown from a tiny 150 square foot operation with 20 teas to a 1,300 square foot with over 90 tea offerings. Each tea is carefully hand selected and crafted. MODesTEA offers black, green, white, oolong, rooibos, herbal, pu’erh, mate and organic teas. Ten of their teas have the distinction as World Tea Champions. They also carry a full line of pots, cups, mugs, infusers and tea travelers
Besides a love for tea, owner Tracy Frickey is an artist and recently added T Gallery to her space. Each month a new art exhibit opens for the Tennyson First Friday Artwalk. Exhibits are of local, national and international artists.
