mercer & jayne was created in 2011 by Laura Gillan. Working in the fashion industry for years I was always keeping current on trends and I had a fascination with gemstones that stemmed from childhood. I applied that knowledge and love of jewelry and mercer & jayne was born. I am mainly self taught but over the years have honed and refined my skills with metalsmithing classes.
mercer & jayne is a line of mixed aesthetics. Trendy and timeless, bold yet dainty, modern but with an organic feel. My jewelry is perfect for layering or worn by itself. Every piece has a delicate and classic touch.
