gratitude

Feeling rejuvenated and inspired today after a really good week so far. It didn’t start off so great with jury duty and a 24 hour bug, but the week is rounding out to be quite awesome.

We had meetings this week with some really wonderful people.  From talking about dreams, upcoming business plans and even sharing vulnerabilities, we realized how absolutely grateful we are for community. Not only are Denver and Colorado filled with some super talented creative folks, but this state and this city are filled with some super kind, generous and authentic souls. We’re so very grateful for that. And generally, we’re so grateful for the Horseshoe, all of our community support, and that we have the opportunity to work with and know so many interesting, creative, awesome folks!

And speaking of gratitude–gratitude makes you slow down. It forces one to be present and recognize now. And being present is such a stark contrast to all this “doing” we do, being busy, constantly on the computer (yes, I realize I’m “blogging” right now;)), constantly on the phone, multi-tasking, juggling our busy lives.

So, in honor of gratitude and being present, we are posting this lovely TED video. It’s a totally beautiful video–spiritual and deep and all that good stuff. Love the little girl who talks about exploring and going deeper–awesome! And the time-lapse photography videos are breathtaking.

Enjoy! Hope you all find a bit of gratitude today, too.
