Inspiration Monday: Colorful Colorado

By May 21, 2012February 23rd, 2014Blog, Inspiration Mondays

What a beautiful Monday it is! Today we are inspired by colorful Colorado. We are so excited for summer and being able to get up to the mountains for some fresh mountain air and fun. And we are particularly excited for this summer’s new Horseshoe Markets across Colorado! We are so dang thrilled about our new History Colorado partnership, Hit the Road with the Horseshoe Market!

We have the honor of putting on Horseshoe Markets at three select historical sites around the state. We kick off these markets on June 23rd in Leadville at the Healy House & Dexter Cabin and National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum.

Here are some great items from Colorado artists, crafters and collectors who are inspiring us as we prepare for the Leadville Market. Some of the folks above have already applied to be vendors at our Leadville market!

1. alex watson pottery 2. Signey Octavia earrings 3. AliceBags 4. The Magpie Society 5. Peter Marshall pillow 6. HodgePodge Garage Vintage 7. Northwind Trading vintage folding camera 8. AnthroPhilanthrop mirror 9. Taite vintage Frye’s

Our Leadville Market will be on the grounds of the Healy House and mining museum and we are blocking a street out in front of the historic mansion, as well. We will have nearly 50 Colorado vendors selling handmade art, craft and antiques. The Healy House is a really special property and sits right above downtown Leadville and has incredible views. The historic mansion used to be a hub for all the wealthy Colorado socialites, and the Dexter Cabin was home to Colorado’s first millionaires, James Dexter.

We hope you’ll join us and mine for some really spectacular treasures on June 23rd! It’s a great day trip or weekend road trip from Denver.

And speaking of road trips, Colorado Culture will be helping you plan your Horseshoe Market/History Colorado road trips! Stay tuned for a detailed itinerary to the Leadville Market.
