A Good Karma Way to Get More Social Media Exposure
Give recommendations. It’s goodwill and the good karma actually creates real opportunity to expand your following.
Here’s how helping someone else will help you too.
- When you recommend someone its easier to ask them to recommend you.
- A handful of recommendations on your page says, “I’m the expert,” “People like working with me,” and “I know what I am doing.” Its the social proof we all want. If a potential customer is torn between you and a competitor and you have a handful of recommendations and your competitor has none, you win. They will choose you over your competitor every single time.
- Recommendations helps you infiltrate their list. When you give someone a recommendation all of their fans, followers and future fans and follows will see it to.
The best place to give recommendations is LinkedIn. Just log in and click on the person you want to recommend. Then on the click Recommend (this person).
So simple and quick you can share the love by recommending a few contacts.
