We are thrilled to be opening up a few select spots to “junior” vendors–called the Little Horseshoe Round Up–for the Summer Horseshoe Market on July 12th, 2014! There are five spots open for this opportunity.
This portion of the market will be juried – just like the Horseshoe Market is juried. We will be looking for creative, well-crafted products conceived of and created by kids.
The Little Horseshoe Round-Up opportunity is not about perfection or a ‘mini-me’ approach to art and craft. This is about the joy of watching a child dream up, develop and market their goods and in doing so—begin to create their own unique brand and business. This is a celebration of kids work and we want to make sure the ideas and products they develop are completely their own.
To be considered as a Junior Horseshoe vendor, applicant must be:
- Age 18 or younger
- Have your own art, handmade craft or re-purposed creations (a number of them to sell and display) made by YOU!
- Have a name for your “business”
- Be ready to interact with the public
- Have a support system; parent, grandparent, family member and/or mentor along with you for the day (or 1/2 day)
To apply, send your name, email, parent’s name(s), phone number, brief description of products/business and three photos of your work to by Friday, June 13th to Amy@HorseshoeMarket.com. The Little Horseshoe Round-Up will be located in front of Olinger Chapel on 46th Avenue. Junior spaces are $35 and vendors need their own table (no more than 6 foot) as well as all booth decorations and set-up.
