the broadmoor hanger
Some of my favorite finds while out scavenging are items specific to Colorado. I am guilty of making up fantastic histories for everything I find and when I find local history–well, it just makes the story much more romantic.
To really drive this point home: of all the amazing things I’ve come across since moving to Colorado, my favorite item is a wooden hanger from The Broadmoor Hotel. I purchased clothing from an estate sale and didn’t even notice the hanger until I was home. It’s small and simple and has no monetary value–but I love it. Sometimes you find great things and sometimes great things find you =)
