What a day October 6th was!! It was a very cold one–temperatures peaking around 39 degrees and slightly damp. Not a perfect day for an outdoor market. However, this is Colorado and this is what we do! We were amazed at how many folks showed up to our Fall Horseshoe Market. And the folks that did show up were there to shop from all of our great vendors! There were so many happy faces despite the cold–vendors and shoppers alike put on their best attitudes and really enjoyed the day!

Our favorite moments? Hearing that Featured Vendor, Tuffy Kickshaw’s, sold out, sipping on Helliemae’s caramel apple cider, listening to the Higlands Ramblers warm up the Horseshoe with their tunes, and watching the shoppers leave with their hands full.

Highlands Ramblers jammin' in the cold

Another great moment? Telling two shoppers, “Thanks for coming out in the cold!” And before we could finish they told us they were taking “round one” of loot to their car, and they were coming back for more. Or in their words, “We are just getting started!” This is one example of how awesome our Denver community is–they truly support and love handmade, vintage and local.

Thanks to Rachael Grace Photography for the pics!

We will see you at Denver Pavilions on December 8th for our final 2012 market–the Horseshoe Holiday Market. This market will feature 40 select vendors selling their amazing wares in a festive holiday atmosphere in Downtown Denver! Can’t wait to see you there.
