With the 4th of July just a little more than a week away, many of us Coloradans look toward the mountains, toward an escape from the hustle of the city and those high temps. It’s that quintessential cabin experience tucked in the woods, perhaps by the lake where we can find some rest, peace and renewal. We gathered up some items from our Summer Sponsors and Featured Vendors that we’d want to outfit our dream cabin experience.

Wake up. No work, no emails (especially if you’re truly getting off the grid), you’ve just got the whole day in front of you. Grab your favorite pipping hot cup of coffee and put your feet up on a beautifully functional coffee table from Roaming Roots. We all know cabin times do mean some chore times – so dry off those dishes (you know there’s no dish washer…) with mountain appropriate dish towels from Leo’s Dry Goods.

Take in the great outdoors no better than on the porch, hopefully with a view. How about on some vintage metal patio furniture from Vogel Haus Vintage? Add some beauty and whimsy to your porch and string some mountain and camping inspired flags from arubymoon.

Finally, after you’ve gone into town, maybe gone fishing or hiking, it’s time to head home before that classic afternoon thunderstorm rolls in. Cozy up, turn on the fire and turn on some sweet tunes from Nomad Vinyl or grab some of their interesting Lucky Finds of vintage books and trinkets to thumb through. Find your cabin mates and get everyone into playing a rad puzzle handcrafted by Donna Diddit.
